Canadians throw away over 3 millions tones of plastic waste every year. Although this may not seem like a big deal for us, for others around the world, it creates mountains of waste and hurts their daily lives. In order to care for our global neighbors and care for the earth, we must end the mountains of plastic waste that is produced and thrown away.
With many Christians and others around the world, we’re calling for negotiations and a treaty to fully address the impacts of plastic pollution on those living in poverty.
